We have an open position for Associate Principal Oboe with obligation to Cor anglais and oboe d’amore (2. solo obo med pligt til oprykning, engelskhorn og oboe d'amore)

The audition will take place on Sunday, 8 March 2026, in DR Koncerthuset (Studie 4), Ørestads Blvd. 13, 2300 København S, Denmark.
REPERTOIRE:
Pre-round (video):
• Mozart: Oboe Concerto in C, K. 314 — 1st movement to bar 97
• Mahler: Symphony No. 3 — 2nd movement to bar 27
(Recordings may be submitted in two takes)
1st round:
• Mozart: Oboe Concerto in C, K. 314 — 1st movement to bar 97
• Orchestral excerpts
2nd round:
• Strauss: Oboe Concerto — to “Lebhaft” after fig. 11
• Orchestral excerpts
3rd round:
• Excerpts (1st and 2nd parts together with the section)

After the deadline, applicants will be placed in one of three groups:

• Direct invitation to the 1st round
• Invitation to a pre-round via video
• Not invited

Tuning: 442 Hz

An accompanist will be provided. Applicants cover their own travel and rehearsal expenses.

Salary and conditions follow the agreement for Danish Regional Orchestras (Landsdelsorkestrene).
Employment for non-EU residents is contingent on obtaining a valid work and residence permit. Applicants are responsible for any costs associated with obtaining these permits.
