2026-2027 season salary is $43,776.00

Employment to begin on or before December 1, 2026.

The Alabama Symphony's 2026-27 Season is 36 weeks long and includes three paid vacation weeks. Benefits include 100% individual medical insurance, disability, instrument insurance, and pension contribution to AFM-EPF, as well as a $450.00 annual Electronic Media Guarantee payment. If a position is won by a current orchestra member, the resulting vacancy may be offered to a runner-up. In the event of an additional vacancy (in the same section as those posted below) is created prior to the audition dates listed below, the audition committee reserves the right to offer a one-year, possibly tenure track position in addition to those advertised herein
