Helen Michetschläger (1996, Manchester), after Francesco Ruggieri

Full sized cello by Helen Michetschläger after Francesco Ruggieri. I have owned this cello since it was built in 1996, used for conservatoire studies and in professional performances for many years. The cello has a full, even and clean sound. It is very comfortable to play, responsive and reliable in tone. There is some minor damage to the rib (reflected in the price), but otherwise the cello has been totally reliable and consistent for many years.

The cello is currently located in Birmingham where it can be viewed, or it can easily be brought to Sheffield if that is more convenient.
