Violin Teacher
(フルタイム, 恒久)
Qatar Music Academy (QMA) aims to develop promising talent from the region to become the next generation of world-class musicians by providing comprehensive music education programs in Arab and Western classical music. Both curricula are based on performance and musicianship. QMA is looking for an experienced violin teacher.
Qualifications and Experience
• Master’s degree in Violin Performance
• Minimum of 8 years’ violin teaching experience with a proven teaching track record (e.g.,
students participating in international competitions and continuing their studies at leading
higher music education institutions).
• Active involvement as a performer and adjudicator, with experience delivering masterclasses
• Experience teaching students aged 5 to 18 years old, as well as adult learners
• Knowledge of current music education research, best practices, and event management
• Experience with international examination systems, including ABRSM examinations, and
academic administration
• Experience with academic evaluation systems and student progress reporting
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written English (knowledge of Arabic is desirable)
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills and experience using Sibelius software (knowledge of other
music technology software is desirable)
• Understanding of, and experience in, fostering a collaborative culture
• Knowledge of and experience with Child Protection and Safeguarding in a music education context.
