The double bass was only played for 2 years.
The maker developed this model with both the orchestral player and the soloist in mind. His aim is to create enough power and quality of sound to stand out in an orchestra, whilst having focus and great dynamic range at the upper register. With ergonomics at the forefront of this design, the bass is extremely manageable and geometrically balanced. This instrument has a strong classical elegance borrowing from the Cremonese and English making Schools.
This has been a popular model with both pizz and arco players noted for its power, focus, evenness across the strings and it’s depth of sound despite its modest size.
