Damaged stradivarius violin with large split down back, black pegs, and a hard case with blue lining
Stolen: 02 Aug 2025 - 11:00pm - Edmonds, Washington
Part of a house robbery.
Description of Instrument:
A stradivarius violin with a large split down the middle of the back of the violin. The pegs are black, the varnish chipped. Fingerboard is black. Has four fine tuners and a black, smooth chin rest. The hard case contains two bows, which may be losing hairs. The hard case is lined with a fluffy dark blue lining, and two pockets within the case, which contains resin and a film canister with a sponge in it. The hard case has a chip at the top on the outside, exposing yellow foam underneath. The hardcase is black, and contours the violin. This violin is extremely old, and has some chips of wood missing on the sides.
The man who tries to sell it to you may be the one who robbed our home. please take their name and number. This violin is extremely dear to me.
