possible Amati with signed Sartory Bow - by now may have been separated
Stolen: 15 Feb 1980 - 1:00pm - East 55th Street, NYC, NY
My heart was ripped out that day, took years to recover. Was on my way to Taiwan. We had known it was a good violin, but not until it was stolen and my teachers gave their assessment of it to insurers. I have little hope of seeing it again but even as an off chance, after all these years, I'm posting it stolen (we did not have internet in 1980 and I have been in China since making another life - still playing!!! with other violins but not my childhood match) XOXO
