13th Edition of the Luigi Nono Composition Prize, 2026

Purpose of the prize is to promote contemporary chamber music and to create opportunities for composers and performers to meet. The winner will receive as a prize a commission for a piece written specifically for the winner of the “Contemporary Music Prize” at the “Luigi Nono International Chamber Music Competition” 2026. Upon delivery of the piece, the winner will be paid the sum of €1,200. The Call for Scores is open to composers of any age and nationality up to 40 years old. Scores must be sent within June, 21st, 2026 at midnight (UTC/GMT+1), along with the application form duly and fully filled out to the e-mail address iscrizioni@concorsoluiginono.com. Applications must be sent only by e-mail and must include two scores for solo instrument or chamber group (max 15 elements) enclosed to the e-mail in PDF format and a MP3 (or Midi) recording of at least one of the pieces.
Members of the jury will be: AGUSTIN CHARLES SOLER (Spa), JAVIER TORRES MALDONADO (MEX/ITA) and NINA SENK (SLO)
