Spring Into Conducting

Spring Into Conducting is an immersive week-long residential course for aspiring and developing conductors aged 18 and above, led by acclaimed conductor Robert Houlihan.
Set in Jersey, the course offers intensive training in baton technique, rehearsal skills, score preparation, aural training, and orchestral leadership. Participants will work first with piano, then conduct string quartet and wind quintet ensembles, building practical experience with core orchestral repertoire.
Includes full-board accommodation for residents, meals, repertoire materials, ensemble sessions and social events. The course runs 15-21 February 2026 at Da Capo Academy of Performing Arts, Jersey. Limited places available; early application encouraged.
