Monasteries: International masterclasses Cello and Baroque Cello

This four-day immersive programme invites conservatory students and young professional cellists into a focused and inspiring retreat. It offers space not only to refine technique, but to deepen and strengthen your artistic voice.

Masterclasses combine intensive individual lessons with chamber music in a supportive, challenging setting. We work in depth on sound, phrasing and style, with special attention to historically informed performance practice as a source of colour and expression within the core repertoire. Participants are encouraged to bring their own repertoire, ensuring the work connects directly to their development.

Collaboration with piano and harpsichord enriches the musical dialogue. Technical refinement, artistic reflection and performance opportunities support both growth and confidence on stage.
