Principal Double Bass
The Lahti Symphony Orchestra invites applications for the position of Principal Double Bass
Work starts on 11th of August 2025 (or can be agreed).
The salary, including the individual pay component and recording supplement is 3283 - 3546 € per month.
Principal double bass plays at orchestra and chamber groups, maintains the solo capability required by orchestral literature, leads the double bass section by exercising, supervising and developing it, and provides instructions for acquiring group assistants and substitutes. We appreciate the experience of similar tasks and good cooperation and interaction skills.
Principal double bass of Lahti Symphony Orchestra will have opportunity to use two high level instruments: G.B.Guadagnini ja Leandro Bisiach.
Audition is on 8th of April 2025.
