Dalasinfoniettan
Open position: Principal violin II
(フルタイム, 恒久)
Permanent position (100%) from the season 2025-2026 with a one year probation period.
(Start of employment by agreement).
Audition
Repertoire:
Mandatory Pieces:
W A Mozart violinconcerto no. 3, 4, or 5. 1st movement (with cadenza) and 2nd movement (with cadenza).
1:st movement (including cadenza) from one of the following violin concertos: Beethoven, Brahms, Tjajkovskij, Sibelius or Mendelssohn.
Orchestral excerpts will be announced.
Possible chamber music repertoire.
The audition will be held in Falun on September 2 and 3, 2025. Dalasinfoniettan will provide a pianist at the audition. Costs for the applicant will not be reimbursed.

About Dalasinfoniettan
Dalasinfoniettan is a chamber orchestra active in the beautiful and culturally rich region of Dalecarlia. The orchestra consists of 28 full time musicians.
Dalasinfoniettan has performed with international soloists such as Janine Jansen, Evelyn Glennie, Martin Fröst and Víkingur Ólafsson. The orchestra enjoys regular collaborations with Roberto González-Monjas, Malin Broman, Tobias Ringborg, Chloé van Soeterstède and Ariel Zuckermann amongst others. Chief conductor from 2024 is Claire Levacher.
Dalasinfoniettan is a flexible orchestra playing in different genres such as folk, jazz and pop in addition to the classical repertoire. All members of the orchestra play chamber music and take part in
