Cello Bow:
Cello bow by Andreas Grütter, Amsterdam, 2018 (76 grams)
価格: $5,200
Regretfully parting with this exceptional cello bow. Purchased from maker Andreas Grütter in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, in 2018. Used professionally for many years by chamber musician and professor, including on two Grammy-finalist albums.
Characteristics: 76 grams, silver mounted, pernambucco, Tourte model, original in all parts. Light & playful with easy bounce and control. Perfect bow for any repertoire, especially Haydn, early Beethoven, and fast spiccato passages such as Mendelssohn’s “Midsummer Night’s Dream.” Recently re-cambered, replaced lizard skin grip, and rehaired. Ready to play!
Andreas Grütter is among the most sought-after bow makers in Europe living today. His bows are impeccably researched and coveted by concert players. (I was referred to him by Pieter Wispelwey, who was my teacher at the time. I own 4 of his bows currently.) You can learn more about him on his thorough website: https://www.andreasgrutter.com/
Available for trial in Boston, MA, USA
