Francois Salzard violin

This instrument was stolen in 1976 in Lawrence, Kansas. It had a label reading Francois Salzard. Also a label that read "Repared (sic) by G.E.B" or such in blue ink as I remember. It was dark brown and had a rough finish. The two piece back must have been opened at some point because it was light in color along the seam as the varnish had been removed. It had a white bone or Ivory nut.
