Concorso Internazionale di Composizione "Orazio Michi dell'arpa"

The Teleion Musica & Cultura Association is proud to announce the 2nd edition (2026) of the “Orazio Michi dell’Arpa” International Composition Competition.
This prestigious initiative, organized with the official patronage of the Municipality of Alife, aims to promote contemporary musical creation while honoring the legacy of the 17th-century harp virtuoso born in Alife. Submissions will be evaluated by an eminent international jury of world-class composers and musicologists.
The call for scores is open to composers of all nationalities with no age limits. All preliminary evaluation activities will be conducted online. However, the grand finale of the project will take place live: the city of Alife will host the final concert featuring the world premieres of the winning works, an international musicological conference on Orazio Michi, and the official award ceremony.
The winning piece will be awarded a First Prize of 1,000 Euros.
